This air mattress is very comfortable. Holds a 125 pound person out of the water almost completely. Well made. Have only had a week so can not say what long term holds but floated the river all week on it up against branches and rocks without problems. It is two layers- canvas on the outside and vinyl on the inside.

It takes on very little water (on the top) when I get on and due to the dark color the sun warms up that little bit of water quickly. I bought this so I could lay in the pool in cooler water temps. The only down side-it holds alot of water between the cover and the inflatable pad. So you want to make sure you empty most of it in the pool before taking it out of the pool.
