Stylish and functional
We needed lighting over a game table that was unobtrusive. This light is perfect. It is well made and looks great. We purchased a 45 watt fluorescent bulb which provides excellent lighting. The lamp hood is designed so that the light is shielded from game players eyes. When building, balance the very heavy base on its side being sure that it won't tlit over. This makes installing the base pole easy.

There is a reason why this is often back ordered.
It's great & works awesome with my ‘Phillips Hue' lights/bulbs. Seriously high quality especially for price! It's a diva light that demands attention and deserves to be front and center of any room. Simplistic design that is timeless & obviously classy.

Excellent quality
The shade on this lamp is highly polished chrome, like a piece of jewelry. And since the shade is the focal point, I'm glad that I didn't buy a less expensive lamp. Also, the interior of the shade has a lovely white finish, giving the light a very gentle glow. I"m also happy that the switch is on the cord, so the sleek line of the lamp is not interrupted.
