I take a strong pain medication due to arthritis (twice daily).....yet my doctor advised me to take 2 X-strength Tylenol as needed - for break through pain. This can be done every 4 hours - up to three times daily. Tylenol X strength has been my go-to for pain relief. This provides 1,200 mg,, of pain relief - and IT WORKS. More pain relief with the X strength relief - than the regular.
