these aren't as thick as some of the other mats I've had over the years for anti-fatigue. I put several of them, though around my new kitchen, even though I got wood kitchen tile, I know my boys and my husband will be constantly dropping jars or something and chipping the beautiful wood look tile. The tile is a beautiful golden oak color and if anything chips, it will show so I wanted a stylish anti-fatigue mat to match my sage cabinets what I love about these as I take my steam mop and they clean really easily. I'm able to steam all litter off of them if somebody stains them or drops them and they're very cute almost look like a little throw rug only give a little bit of cushioning just enough to help out standing on hard tile. If looking for something very thick because you really need the support, these would not be it, but these do the trick for me.
