When I receive them in or open them I was stunned at the quality so I went back and read the reviews assuming there was gonna be something wrong with them, but the reviews are great as well. Solid, heavy good little lamp.

This is a welded smallish lamp, rather heavy for its size. That means that unfortunately the shade can't be adjusted or removed to provide more ambient light so most light is focused below the 10-inches or so space below the bottom of the shade. However being that it's very solid it'll definitely withstand falling over big-time. Plus the fact that it's USB-C powered with a built-in battery is great. Therefore given the price it's very good, just try to position it a little above whatever you're wanting to illuminate so that it's effective.

Great concept for a modern look

These are great little lights to have on hand. They look clean and modern on a nightstand or dresser. It's nice to not deal with the obnoxious cords. The only downside is that they do die rather quickly. But that can be helped by charging every morning, or keeping use at night to less than 15 minutes to get a few days out of them.
