Purchased these to replace outdated glass shades on my living room ceiling fan and WOW, what a huge difference! The ceiling fan does not look the same, it now has a classy feel and does not look so dated. I recommend using clear glass bulbs, they worked best for me on these shades. I will purchase more for my other fans, it will prevent me from needing to replace the entire fan to upgrade the aesthetics.
