This stuff honestly surprised me with how well it works for me. For someone who deals with mast cell-related rashes that itch severely and has tried SO many things, that's really saying something. When the histamine ogres decide to throw a party under my skin, this actually helps a lot without making me sleepy. Definitely works better for me than cetirizine and loratadine. I seem to have to rotate my seasonal allergy meds. I used Claritin last year w/o much relief, so I thought I'd go back to Allegra. Instant success! I purchased the Equate version; much cheaper and just as effective for my congestion, drippy nose and eyes and scratchy throat. I think I'll stick with this for the next couple years and hope it works consistently.
