Great TV wall mount!

Not much to say about it. It's a typical "flat TV mount". Easy to attach to the TV, and mount to the wall but, the price is a LOT lower than the local retailer, and the shipping is super fast. I would definitely recommend this and I would purchase it again. A+

Probably not a good idea but yes, you can flip the brackets so the monitor tilts up instead of down.

Product: Mount-it! Low-profile TV Wall MountI picked up a 40" UHD TV to use as a monitor. I didn't want the stand taking up desk space and needed the monitor sitting back a bit farther anyway, so I went looking for a wall bracket. Good ergonomics requires that the center of a monitor this size be about 8-10 inches below my eye level and that the monitor be tilted up about 10-15 degrees. However, wall mounts all seem to be intended for watching a TV sitting at eye level or higher, rather than a computer monitor sitting low. They all tilt the wrong way.I took a chance and ordered this mounting bracket figuring that I'd have to do a little cutting, drilling, and grinding to make it tilt the other way. It turned out that no modifications were required, though there are some risks and complications when you turn the bars upside-down.The bolts that normally go on the bottoms of the bars are now up top and hook onto the big metal plate. This places some bending torque on them and they in turn concentrate some bending forces on the plate. I don't think it will fail any time soon but I'm concerned that over time the constant weight will bend the bolts or the plate until the TV falls off (but this is what safety straps are for). Also, what is normally the top part of the bars is some bent metal with notches that just rest on the plate and rely on gravity to hold them in place. Using this bracket as it was meant to be used is a dream, but flipping the bars over totally changes that. You will need to simultaneously hold up the weight of the TV, hold the notches in place on the bottom, adjust the angle, and adjust the bolts on top AND do all this for both sides. In other words, you'll almost certainly need a second set of hands. But once it's done, it's done and I'm real happy with the result.
