The fabric was the softest, most cozy of 3 different sweats/hangout pants I purchased. I have health issues and lay about quite a bit. I didn't notice they were "sleep pants" which I believe explains the better quality fabric. My sizes have changed drastically lately. By the charts I'd go by hip size and forget the waist as mine have the same measurement and the lower size worked great. It was a hunch that paid off. I've received weird sizing from different companies especially far foreign ones. This is a good one though for what I needed.
