Waterproofing you can see

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just washed my all my gear in this combo. The tech wash got my gear almost brand new and squeaky clean! Then ran all the fear through with the TX Direct. I could literally see the water bead on each garment. WATERPROOFED and ready for next season!!

Do It

Love this stuff. As much as I love buying new 686 gear, I feel this stuff is always justified. I usually run warm in my shell jacket and pants throughout winter since it always seems like the snow melts on my pant legs. This wash and waterproofing helps keeps my aged gear fresh and keeps me dry while boarding or skiing. Easy to use, dont be afraid. I've done the cleaning and waterproofing in a bucket or in a washer, just make sure to let it soak in and agitate enough to get all the surfaces.
