The stakes appear to be good quality metal and sturdy. The plastic adaptors they include with it? Not so much. They break very easily.. The stakes are long enough to get a decently strong anchor for small solar lights. It would be nice if they were a tad bit longer. Overall, these are a good buy and a great replacement for the cheap and flimsy stakes that come with most solar lights. Give the tips of them a light sanding and then spray them with some bright yellow Krylon spray paint before you pound them in, flush to the ground, to make them easy to relocate after mowing or weed-eating around them.

I came with 10 in a box. The stakes were a coated metal not plastic which what I ordered nothing really lasts when items are plastic. I didn't need 10 but having extra, just in case, is helpful.
