Smelly tires

The wagon was purchased to transport a rather heavy turtle habitat, when it needs to be cleaned, through our house. Schwinn designed and manufactured a sturdy, attractive wagon. However, I disagree with the design decision of using hammer -on hub caps to keep the wheels on the axles. The wheels have ballon tires, that smell rather strongly mounted on them. My wife's only objection to the wagon is the smelly tires. Tires with air inside them will eventually need some sort of servicing; which means one or more wheels will need to be removed over the life of the wagon. Removing the hammer-on hubcaps will probably destroy them. Perhaps the use of a cotter pin through a hole in the end of the axles to keep the wheels on the wagon would have been a better design with ballon tires. Old fashion solid rubber tires would have been a better choice with the hammer-on hub caps.

Too many small parts to put together

The local store offered to put it together for me. A problem because I don't have a truck to bring it back home. I thought that all I would have to do is put the wheels and handle on.
