Good Design, Good Value
The material is thin, which means less use of a resource. The durability is high enough to hold up for normal, kitchen trash use. The bottom is a sort of star/cluster seal/binding, which puts the weight of the bag low and centered; this makes it easy to drop the bag down into the kitchen trash container. The value is high because there are enough bags to last a while, and the cost per bag is low. There are no straps for pulling and tying, but the bags have more height, which allows me to fold several inches of the upper part of the bag over the container rim. That gives me enough material to tie the bag after the container is filled.

Love that these bags are compostable, but they tear easily
As it turns out if we fill up our 13 gallon bin past 3/4 full, the bags tear from the weight and we have ended up having to clean up/double bag, which isn't a functional product.
