Adults and children over the age of 12 should take one to two TUMS Chewy Bites as symptoms occur. You should not take more than six tablets in a 24-hour period. If using Chewy TUMS while pregnant, do not take more than six tablets in 24 hours. For symptoms that persist longer than two weeks, ask your doctor before continuing to use TUMS antacids for gas.
