Contemporary Dark Brown Faux Leather Upholstered 2-Door Wood Shoe Storage Bench with Cabinet

The quality of this shoe locker was surprisingly better than expected. It is pressed wood construction but with wood dowels, copious wood screws, and some metal locking dowels strategically placed in the final piece. There are also screwed in corner brackets for the backing that slides into pre cut groves in addition to finishing nails to secure it add to overall strength. The instructions are good but the locker is constructed in segments. First some assembly hardware is attached; dowels, L-brackets, and other hardware. First segments are assembled, then those are assembled together to build the locker. Step 4 can be confusing as the “view” is looking thru one piece (A) to see how to attach (H). It makes sense but it might take a minute to see it. Put all screws in by hand so as not to damage the pressboard, no “extra screws” like in some kits are provided. There are three adjustable shelves, one in the long side under the cushion bench and two on the table side. It looks great, works well, provides plenty of space for size 13 shoes or smaller, and the price is reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended!
