This microclover is ideal as an alternative to grass or mixed in with existing lawn grasses. It is drought tolerant, provides cover for grasses to help shade and prevent drying and as a bonus it fixes nitrogen from the air into the soil, making it a natural ongoing fertilizing source for lawn grass. Sow 2 lbs of seed per 1000 square feet if only clover. Half that much for seeding existing lawns. To replace lawn with clover, allow the lawn to die and seed 2lbs per 1000 sq. ft. over the top of the dead lawn. Keep damp until established. Whether mixed with existing lawn, or complete clover, miniature clover requires less water than grass, and will help keep your grass/clover mix lawn greener longer.
