Hello Nancy! Sorry to hear you're having issues with your MK270 Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Combo. Since I am not exactly sure about what's not working at the moment, here are my recommendations that will hopefully resolve your issues: First, make sure that both the mouse and keyboard have batteries in them. Next, flip the power switch on both devices to "ON". Once that's done, connect the USB Nano-receiver to you computer, on a side USB port for a laptop, or front USB port for a desktop, if possible. At this point, you should be good to use both peripherals. If for whatever reason they aren't recognized when the Nano-receiver is plugged in, you might want to download and install the Logitech Unifying Software from https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025297913-Logitech-Unifying-Software, and follow the instructions to pair them together again. - Mathieu from Logitech
