ā¢ if you smoke your first cigarette more than 30 minutes after waking up, use 2 mg nicotine lozenge according to the following 12 week schedule:
Weeks 1 to 6 - 1 lozenge every 1 to 2 hours
Weeks 7 to 9 - 1 lozenge every 2 to 4 hours
Weeks 10 to 12 - 1 lozenge every 4 to 8 hours
ā¢ nicotine lozenge is a medicine and must be used a certain way to get the best results
ā¢ place the lozenge in your mouth and allow the lozenge to slowly dissolve. Minimize swallowing. Do not chew or swallow lozenge.
ā¢ you may feel a warm or tingling sensation
ā¢ occasionally move the lozenge from one side of your mouth to the other until completely dissolved
ā¢ do not eat or drink 15 minutes before using or while the lozenge is in your mouth
ā¢ to improve your chances of quitting, use at least 9 lozenges per day for the first 6 weeks
ā¢ do not use more than one lozenge at a time or continuously use one lozenge after another since this may cause you hiccups, heartburn, nausea or other side effects

tastes like the tootsie rolls
Only because you can't select 0 stars. When they recently changed the flavor from mint to peppermint they made a serious marketing error. To me it now tastes like the tootsie rolls from the litter box. Cant buy the original mint version anymore, which is a shame. Also the price has doubled in 2 years or so, making the cost the same to mas as the cigarettes I used to smoke. Definitely a step back.

I don't like the new formula. It does not satisfy
I don't like the new formula. It does not satisfy my new cravings. I literally bought the new nicotine lozenges today and it was slimy. It turned blue and it scared me so I slipped up and had a cigarette. I'm not using Nicorette any further unless it's changed to the original formula

New Formula goes above and beyond the old formula
Old 2mg mini formula - acceptable taste, appropriate dissolve time, socially acceptable and convenient. I like it and used it as a product to get nicotine in my system without the hazards that smoking has. The new formula reminds me of why I switched from the large commit lozenges. New formula melts into a blob. I like to change positions of the mini in my mouth. One side to the other. It is very hard to do that when it is in a slimy blob that doesn't go away unless you physically take it out. Good try but missed the mark with the chalky feeling
