RMS Beauty 276707 3.4 oz Beauty Body Oil

I'm talking about the Beauty Body Oil I received just this morning. It is absolutely fantastic! I have used many oils over the years and I am here to say that this one is perfect in every way. The scent, the feel, the color, the viscosity - perfect. I have seen a few negative reviews on this oil, with most saying that they can't get past the scent. One even said "fragrance". Rest assured, there is no fragrance (synthetics) in this product. What you are smelling is the Tamanu Oil, which is the third ingredient, after the carrier oils. Tamanu Oil is pressed from the seeds of the Tamanu Tree, which is indigenous to tropical southeast Asia and has a deep, nutty, pecan-y scent and is very rich in fatty acids. It takes 100kg of tamanu fruit, the amount that "1" tree produces in a year, to yield just 5kg of cold-pressed oil. To those of you who know and understand what Tamanu Oil is, great. To those of you who don't, please don't give up on it. I used to use this oil straight up, right out of the bottle, for my severely dry facial skin. And let me tell you, it took me a bit. You're right - at first the aroma is a little powerful. But once you realize and wrap your head around what it is, how great it is, and that it actually smells like nuts, it now becomes your favorite oil. And the aroma fades after just a minute or two. And ladies - it is simply divine on just shaved legs. Of coarse apply when the skin is still damp from the shower and you are left with the prettiest legs, and arms and shoulders well it's just beautiful everywhere!!! AND...no oily residue! It is a fairly dry oil but oh so nice. My husband just had a total knee replacement and the skin on his leg from the knee down to the ankle is a mess. "They" said to use lotion but "I" said no synthetics here. He tried the Beauty Body Oil for the first time this morning and loves it! I am now going to order "3", maybe "4" more while it is still on sale. Again - Please don't give up on it! Once you know what it is your smelling, all of a sudden it smells great.

I absolutely love this oil. Feels so luxurious on the skin and absorbs quickly. I love the natural, earthy scent of it too; putting this on after showers is such a treat. The glass bottle makes it even more luxurious. Had some issues with the pump initially but if you cup your hand over it while dispensing, you won't have to worry about the oil going anywhere other than your hand.
