Effective in the basement

We use the AirDoctor 3000 in the basement of our home. We vacuum the prefilter every two months to clear any dust that has accumulated. Every six months the Change Filter indicator light appears, and the HEPA filter is dark gray indicating it has been collecting dust and other air particles. When we are sanding or sweeping, the purifier increases speed to deal with the added contaminates. Photos below show a fresh HEPA filter vs a HEPA filter that has been in use two months. The prefilter shows some debris that included three small spiders. We are content that this air purifier helps clean the air.
