There was loose screws down in the box. There was no instructions included. I contacted the seller and they emailed the instructions. It is not difficult to assemble with the exception that it takes take 3-4 people to assemble to connect the front and back sections. I haven't found many people that can be here at the same time to help me, so it's still sitting here waiting to be assembled. Otherwise is a great awning.
