Quick relief for heartburn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of Alka-Seltzer GUM Cool Mint from the TryIt sampling community and I am already a fan. My normal go to heartburn relief worked okay but it took some time before the pain would subside. I tried these and heartburn gone in a few minutes. The packaging allows for me to carry these everywhere, instead of a big bottle of tablets or a plastic bag with chewable stock carry around. No chalky taste, like my go to tablets. The mint flavor is refreshing. Combines heartburn relief with fresh breath.

SO HORRIBLY UPSET THIS IS NOW DISCONTINUED!!!

24 YEARS is how long it took me to FINALLY find a heartburn product that I like! It worked FAST, and was THE ONLY PRODUCT on the market that didn't make me feel nauseous or make me gag. I've never been one to be over dramatic about ANYTHING, but let me tell you...finding out the Alka-Seltzer GUM was being discontinued was like finding out the WORLD WAS ENDING!! I felt like I hit the lottery when I first found that GUM (no chalky tablets or nasty gummies anymore, yay!), and man, I told EVERYONE I knew about it. PLEASE, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, BRING YOUR PEPPERMINT & COOL MINT GUM BACK!!!

Life Saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical of the Alka-Seltzer Cool Mint Gum. I figured it would be like every other acid reducer on the market today. Boy was I wrong! I have severe reflux/heartburn to the point that I will wake up in the middle of the night with my throat feeling like it is literally on fire and I can't breathe. I'm on twice daily rx meds, but lately, they don't seem to be doing the job. The last couple of times this has happened, I've automatically reached for my normal acid reducer. When that didn't work, I remembered I had the Alka-Seltzer Gum. By the time I had gotten that I had gotten the gum chewed up to where it was soft like a normal gum would be, I noticed the reflux had started to subside. After another couple of minutes, it would be completely gone! What a relief!
