the cool,off,hot switch got real hot and melted somehow. effected the switch as a whole. making it not switch off of the cool setting, and would not allow it to switch off into the hot mode... . I smelt a burnt scent coming from the switch area. then it stopped working all together. while using the 110/120 plug. trying to resolve this situation has been a pain. This is a third party, appliance. walmart does not help very much at all due to the 1st. year manufacturers warranty... . not worth the trouble. Do not buy products that are sold on line from 3rd. party..... .
