Good brackets for modifying your fan application.

The Maxx Air vent cover brackets did not work once I replaced the original vent with a fan powered vent. The replacement brackets made a quick modification. It was a lot easier to order these from WalMart that try to modify the old brackets. The new steel is fairly soft so I put in a couple of additional mounting holes and screws to anchor the Hood right into the frame surrounding the vent. These brackets came with good stainless steel screws, lock washers and nuts. The four nuts, four screws, and four lock washers alone would have cost me over $10.00 at Ace.
