Very important.....What you see in the pictures is ALL THAT YOU GET. Nothing else to help switch to this sprayer. You will likely need to buy parts to make this fit your sink, or it may not work, at all, unless you replace the whole thing, hose and all. I would not call this, at all, universal. I had to buy a different cheap one, that screwed right on in seconds, until I buy whatever I'm going to need to switch to this one.....BEWARE
