Fast Grass

While it may be a bit premature to be writing this with only 14 days of growth to compare, I have been very pleased with the performance of GrowTrax grass.  The material is convenient to store (better than sod!), easy to shape to fit a space or site, stays in place (though I used landscape pins) and quick to show signs of growth under daily watering. An added bonus is the fertilizer embedded in the biodegradable material. Grass started appearing after only a few days and continues to look strong - definitely on track to show the promise suggested on the website. I have been very happy with the product so far and have even shard some of the material for others to try out. I would definitely give it a go! My only comment would be that it would be nice if the density of grass seed embedded were increased to get better coverage.

Self contained. Just add water.

Very easy to use . Lightly scratch the soil. Place a strip or torn piece on top and water until color changes. May need to water twice a day to start. Takes several weeks to start to grow but is taking hold now. Water still needed but not as frequent. Seeds are covered so not eaten by squirrels or birds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After about 3 weeks I see a lot of grass geminated and growing. I may have missed the temperature requirement and planted late for East Tennessee Fall. I will need to wait till the spring to see if it survives. My fault if it does not.
