Used set of 4 C batteries in a baby swing with their initial charge. Used EBL charger for first charge and determined that one of the batteries had failed from initial drain (handy feature on charger to detect this sort of thing). Contacted seller and they sent a replacement battery for the one that had failed. Have since used all four repeatedly and they do seem to hold more charge after several charge/discharge cycles. Will likely be purchasing other batteries from this company and have been very pleased with the charger.

Bought 2 packs of C batteries because this is what was noted on a baby nightlight that we had purchased. Come to find out we needed AA batteries instead. Fortunately I had purchased a package of the EBL AA batteries & we were able to set up the nightlight as we had wished. I kept 1 4 pack of the Cs because I had already charged them I then returned 1 pack of Cs - no hassle or fuss which was delightful. Lo & behold the next week we received a baby cradle that required 3 Cs & we were ready. All C & AA batteries charged fully with the EBL Ni-MH charging station purchased at the same time. So far all batteries are working & haven't needed recharging. Very pleased with the EBL brand items

It is kind of hard to judge batteries but they certainly were well priced for rechargeable batteries. Suggestion: If you don't use rechargeable batteries I really recommend it. The charger was around $30 and fits all household batteries. The batteries are more expensive but they last for years and years. Also, I accidentally recharged 4 alkaline D size batteries, which is says explicitly to never due. Made them like new again. .
