I do a lot of press on manicures and pedicures, but always with my own designs. This is my first time trying a premade set and it was really fun and easy to get a professional look. I have been seeing a lot of social media posts where people use UV cured adhesive on painted sets, and I always thought this was a no-no. How can the UV light cure the adhesive when there is an opaque layer of polish over it? This set specifically said it was compatible with UV cured adhesives and the product photos included a guide about which sets were and were not compatible. Well, it worked! These nails are very slightly transparent which must be enough to allow for curing. The set provides a liquid (air dry) glue and sticky tabs. I used my own UV cured adhesive on half and tried the sticky tabs on the other half. The tabs were so easy and very beginner friendly. I would suggest a pair of fine tweezers for pedicures no matter what. I would recommend this particular design for people with tanned or medium to dark skin and medium to long nail beds. If you have shorter toe nail beds, the tips will extend past your toes for a very dramatic look that's not for everybody (or every pair of shoes). There are two different big toe lengths included. A LOT of the sizes are for very tiny, very narrow nails and I wish they included more of the midrange sizes instead. It's common for people to have multiple nails that are the same size! I was able to find a good fit for all my nails in the set, but if I lost one on the beach or something, I would have to buy a whole new set. The instructions were clear, easy to understand, and easy to achieve great results. Both the sticky tabs and UV curing survived (comfortably!) running errands in shoes and socks.
