Weird

I got this chqrger when i got my new phone. Its bulky and its not a fast charger.. i also noticed that when i plugged a tablet in with headphones it sounded like it was "dialing up" to old internet or a fax machine. I also noticed that my phone started behaving differently. I dont know if maybe it was counterfut and or hacked? My google things also all turned red after this. I have searched the internet for this accessory and cant find anything with the model number i bought.
