it was way overpriced. because there are holes or vents or whatever at the top of the unit, it's hard to control the light that comes out of that area. I guess maybe a really long bulb. I thought that the braded cable braided cord was extremely long and it would be good if there was a method where you connect to the switch where you could shorten it if you wished
