Awesome Product, but does have some distinct holes

Arrived in great condition. Love the art and the new manner of formatting. There are admittedly a few details that I dislike, like the lack of details for Downtime Activities. Apparently, you are meant to still use the rules in Xanathar's Guide to Everything for that still. Conversely, I love the new rules for Bastions and think they're a great expansion for 5e. Though, I would have liked if they were a bit less limited in size. There's also a bit of information on crafting that you need to refer to the new Player's Handbook for as well, specifically in at least the case of Spell Scrolls off the too of my head. Overall, I generally love this new book and think it offers some great tips and resources, but there are still a fee areas that it doesn't cover that do make it a little inconvenient to cover every base on a purely 5e 2024 ruleset basis. Of course, if you're using this book, you likely are getting the new Player's Handbook anyway, but I felt that was worth noting, especially so in the case of Xanathar's Guide still being a required expansion to complete the ruleset triad for several things.

A Solid Book for Beginners and Returning Players

It's been awhile since I have been a DM, but going through this new manual has helped me with getting back into the game. A lot of good information to have in the toolbox, like handling player conflicts and simple XP system helped me brush up on DMing. I didn't really look too much into the sample adventures since my table wanted to try some of the older AL modules. The artwork was nice to look at, the tables were nice and neat, and overall I'm satisfied.
