Nice improvement
A big improvement over the knife it is replacing… I got my original chef's knife nearly 30 years ago as a wedding gift and it had been sharpened so many times that the hilt was lower than the blade. This knife is a perfect replacement since the hilt doesn't go all the way to the edge of the knife. I suspect this one will last even longer!

Great chef knife
We got this knife for our wedding and LOVE it. Super solid, with a thick metal core, and easy to hold / cut. We tried cooking at the in-laws house but their cheap Henkel knife was so bad, light, and dull that we ended up buying one of these for her! Worth the price every time.
