6.Heat pretext fittings can easily fail due to corrosion. Rust and corrosion can cause your exhaust heat pretext to come loose around the original fixings. This can cause unwanted rattling, dragging or scraping from underneath the vehicle.
7. Before our repair kit, the solution would be to replace the heatshield, however this can be costly and time-consuming(sometimes the exhaust will need to be removed to carry out this repair). Not forgetting that the fault will only happen again further down the line.
8. Our universal heat pretext repair kit comprises of 5 aluminium heat pretext washers which are 52mm in diameter, covering the areas of the heat pretext that has come away from the original fixings. They are made from the same material that most heat pretexts are manufactured from and can be moulded in shape to bend to your original heat pretext.(if required)
