I have 2 female adult cats and they both enjoyed this item immediately. I barely assembled it before both of my girls took turn playing with the balls. They both loved the balls a lot. The 5vyr old played with the balls and started scratching immediately. Note: Please make sure to position unit against a wall or door so it doesn't tip over while cats are scratching or playing. I will buy again or buy cardboard inserts for it. Where can I buy the cardboard scratching boards?
