DIRECTIONS FOR PREPARATION AND USE: Your baby's health depends on carefully following these preparation, use and storage instructions. Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm. Before preparing the infant formula, make sure to always wash your hands. Clean can top before opening and thoroughly wash bottle and feeding utensils in hot, soapy water before each use. Ask your baby's doctor about the need to boil or sterilize water for formula and the proper preparation of bottle and feeding utensils. IMPORTANT NOTICE: BREAST MILK IS BEST FOR BABIES. Before using an infant formula, ask the advice of your healthcare professional. Powdered infant formulas are NOT sterile and should NOT be fed to premature infants or infants who are immunocompromised unless directed and supervised by your baby's doctor. This product contains L rhamnosus HN001 which is not intended for immunocompromised infants or for premature infants. 1. Clean can top before opening. Wash hands, bottle and feeding utensils in hot soapy water prior to preparing formula. 2. Pour desired amount of warm water (approx. 100°F/40°C) into bottle. (See Feeding Chart on container.) Warming formula above, or using water warmer than 100°F/40°C, will compromise the probiotic culture. 3. Add powder. Always add powder to water. 4. Cap bottle and shake well until powder is dissolved. Feed immediately. Discard any remaining formula in bottle after 1 hour from start of feeding. Storage: Store unused prepared formula in the refrigerator at 35-40°F (2-4°C); use within 24 hours. DO NOT FREEZE. Warm infant formula to room temperature and shake well before feeding. Prepared formula should not be without refrigeration more than 2 hours. Store open and unopened cans in a dry area at room temperature. Cover the opened can tightly with plastic cap; use contents within 1 month. Avoid any extreme temperatures.

IF your baby tolerates the brand name %26 has CMPA... They will Likley tolerate this,too. at first i was worried that it maybe wasnt up to the same standards, but i learned all the generic baby formula is ALL made by Perrigo Labs, held up to the same standards as the big companies, and lablled for the stores. I am not even going to take away one star for this , but, it is more clumpy than the name brand. I batch make it or you can easily fix that with a coffee frother to get rid of the chucks. This is such a great way to save money if your baby has Cow Milk Protein Allergy!

If you are looking to find a more affordable option for your child that has CMPA this right here is amazing, WAY less gas then being on aliumentum and less spit up !! He seems to even like the taste of this more! I know some reviews say it's hard to mix, but it's the same has the name brand hypoallergenic formulas . Coming from a mom that does her research, there is only one difference in this formula compared to the name brands which is the fat source used! This one hits ALL key nutrients for your babies! I HIGHLY recommend!

It's nutramigen for more than a dollar CHEAPER an ounce. I was told to switch by my doctor and was horrified at how expensive it was going to be and asked them for a generic option and they said it did not exist. That is not true! This is an excellent alternative and only a little more expensive than regular formula. I recommend to all parents needing to switch to a dairy free alternative.
