Thermostat Housing Cover - Compatible with 1998 - 2002 Jaguar Vanden Plas 1999 2000 2001

Good quality; arrived very quickly. Decided on the plastic because it is easier to install...ie a simple replacement. The aluminum, although more durable, has more parts and hard to get at bolts. If the plastic lasts another 18 years, I am satisfied. Be careful not to over tighten. I had no problems. Requires no gasket as it snugs to the rubber on the thermostat. The listing says "Vanden Plas" but it fits regular models also.
