Solid and well made

The stand and bench are solid and well-made. I like how adjustable they are -- this stand goes lower than most X-style or Y-style stands, which makes it good for playing seated. The headphone holder is a nice touch. Tip: once you get the stand and bench adjusted, tighten the knobs down by twisting them to the right. That will keep them stable. Assembly isn't difficult, but does take some time. The bench, in particular, uses quite a few allen-head bolts for assembly. It comes with hex keys, but I'd recommend using a drill with a hex driver bit where you can, to speed up assembly. The stand can be disassembled fairly easily for transport, but not the bench. Not a problem for my usage, but something to keep in mind. There are two threaded holes on the bottoms of the stand's upper horizontal bars, for the included tie-down straps and headphone hook, or other accessories. Be imaginative!

Great solid stand, plenty of leg room

Got it for a digital piano. Kawai vpc1. Was able to adjust the stand to get the key height to a traditional grand piano height. Sturdy, great leg room and seat is a little narrow compared to a piano bench but works great and tucks nicely under the desk. Would recommend and would buy again if needed. On carpet you will get a little bit of sway but nothing crazy, since it's not the stand but carpet taking the impact. I like it.
