These worked great for my major gate repair. The 'Phillips' head stayed correct on almost every use. For me, I only stripped 4 of approximately 30 %26 they were all reusable on softer wood. This is a big deal when I worked outside in the dark in the rain repairing my gate. These screws are very durable, very strong %26 did the job great! Everyone I used has stayed in place with no warping. I will purchase these again. I used them just like the $100 a box decking screws on the jobsites.
