Vestil STEP-17-Y 17 in. Yellow Rolling Step Stool

I'm not nimble. I love this stool. The stool has internal rollers that are on springs. When you apply weight to the top the wheels “retract” so they no longer make contact with the ground so you have solid contact with the bottom edge of the stool and the ground. As soon as you step off the wheels reset to their natural position in contact with the ground. So when walking down a hallway replacing lightbulbs - you can kick the stool to roll to the new location without stopping to pick it up - then step onto the stool without support and change the bulb - step off the stool without it sliding and repeat. Even a basic stool you would need to bend over to pick up the stool to move it and then step tentatively on the stool to make sure it didn't wobble. The obvious flaw in this stool is the very thing that makes it awesome - it does not collapse for storage. You are stuck with the stool being the same size all the time. It makes up for this fault with being extra sturdy and for being easily portable once at the job site. I love this thing. I didn't know stools could be much different from either a step stool or riser design.
