My first thought upon receiving this was how I appreciate that it comes with its own tool bag. I initially bought this to edge my lawn because the grass butts right up to gravel, and if I used a string trimmer it would send gravel flying everywhere. This is a really nice solution that makes edging lawn fast and convenient. One thing I will say is it seems extremely dangerous; I think I could chop my finger off easily with this if I was not paying attention. For some of the edge areas of tall grass I was holding a clump of grass up near the top and using this to cut this near the bottom of the grass, and if I was moving too fast or got distracted, I could see myself easily losing a fingertip. There is no type of guard to protect things from getting into the blades. I did accidentally get one rock and it wedged itself between the two sets of blades, so I turned off the machine and removed the battery pack and then I used the ground and my shoe to pull the rock out (because I think if I would've tried to use my fingers, the blade would've slipped and crunched my finger). I've used a lot of power tools in my day, and I think this thing feels like the most dangerous power tool I've ever used. So with great power comes great responsibility. Be sure if you're going to use this that you are not distracted and that you are paying close attention to what you're doing. I have not tried the pruning attachment yet just the grass cutter one.
