Consider a bidet; will change your daily routine
We purchased this as an upgrade from a heated toilet seat (which is a luxury as well, in case this Washlet is out of your price range, opt for the warmth, esp if you live as we do in New England). The bidet function is a game changer. It installed on our toilet without any problems; watch the video on the Toto site to get an idea of the installation first, for the directions are challenging to follow due to being stated in about 12 languages! Going deliberately in no rush I spent about an hour getting it installed. It has been flawless and a delight. If you are unsure about the virtues of a bidet, read the review at Wirecutter.com about the product; it will convince you to embrace the idea. We bought an elongated to go on a round toilet bowl (round was not available) and it works fine, protrudes just a bit at the front. Installed easily on a stock Kohlet Wellworth toilet. I read the one * review on this web site, and disagree with their assessment, which was based on an initial impression only, not a true review of the product once installed and tested out.
Disappointed
The product we received was defective - the wand does not retract. We will have to attempt warranty service on the item.
