Rugs USA Babai New Zealand Wool Area Rug, 3' x 5', Babai Green

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rug itself looks great and has a nice design, but unfortunately the smell is unbearable. Even though it's advertised as 100% wool, the backing clearly has some kind of latex or chemical treatment. We placed it in our open living room with good air circulation for almost a month, hoping the odor would fade, but it's still extremely strong and overwhelming. It's disappointing because the style and texture are lovely, but the smell makes it impossible to enjoy or use indoors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very disappointed with this rug! As soon as I enrolled it, there was an odor that didn't go away. That alone was frustrating but the bigger issue is how much it sheds. This rug produces an excessive amount of lent and fuzz. Every time you walk on it you can actually see fibers come loose and it constantly leaves dust and debris all over the floor and furniture. I find myself vacuuming far more often than I should have to with a new run and even then, it never really improves. Overall, the quality doesn't match what I expected. Between the smell and the nonstop shedding it's not something I would recommend it is too large and too heavy for me to ship back, so I am stuck with it.
