I did a lot of research on off-road tires by performance, price and aggressive looks. I heard a lot of good reviews in several forums about how well they handled in all conditions and the long tread life. These tires stick like glue in all conditions, excellent in the rain, snow and dirt. I am still waiting to take them on a trail and try them on rocks and mud but I have heard good things in the mud too! So far I am very impressed with the noise, there is a little bit of a howl but you can barely hear it which is perfect. I love the look of the sidewall too, kind of reminds me of an Native American Indian Weaving, so cool! For the price you can't beat the quality, performance and good looks!

The Cooper S/T MAXX are one of the best all terrain, all season tires I have found. They are not only the quietest for road noise but also wear better the the Goodyear AT. I have used these in the Pacific norwest for drivingnin/on snow, gravel, shale, mud, etc working for Parks and on my personal rig for hunting and fishing in the Cascade mountains. The traction is outstanding. I will be running the in Arkansas now to see how they do in the back country in mud, clay, and rock. On a Ram 1500, I am usually able to get 50k to 60k miles per set. The only area traction was lacking is driving on sheet ice. This is where Toyo's have better performance.
