Mikasa Italian Countryside Oval Casserole

We purchased a full Mikasa set of this style some years ago and couldn't be more pleased with it. We use it for everyday ware and it has held its own against many trips through the dishwasher. We had used this particular casserole piece so much that with the different foods we baked in it, it had developed spots inside the dish and cover that detracted from its appearance at the table (yes it is a nice serving piece), So at long last it was time to replace it. I was delighted to find that it was still a stock item and delivery from Mikasa took only a week with it arriving in perfect condition.

As presented, the pieces are substantial in weight as desired. Colors as depicted on line did not quite meet expectations and are basically black and light brown without any orange tones, but for us that was ok. Overall very pleased with the purchase as they add a nice dimension to our daily living
