So glad I went ahead a purchased this shower curtain. This is a heavyweight grade of vinyl, it does have the metal grommets, and it did not have any noxious odors when I opened the bag. Great shower liner - keeps shower curtain completely dry and is easy to clean (can wipe with soap and water!). Awesome value/price. Good quality and reasonably priced.
