- Replacement for / Compatibility: Filterlogic black gravity filters are replacement for Berkey BB9-2 black filters and are compatible with Berkey-style gravity systems, including Travel, Big, Royal, Imperial, and Crown series. The washer-and-wing-nut design helps create a secure, leak-resistant connection. Flush the filter for 1 minute before first use; minor splashing may occur if the faucet connection isn’t fully compatible, but it won’t affect use.
- Filtration Performance: Made with coconut shell activated carbon, these filters help reduce chlorine (up to 99%) and can also help reduce taste and odor, sediment, rust, sand, large particles, and certain heavy metals to improve water flavor.
- Certified & Safe Materials: Certified to NSF/ANSI 42 & 372, and made with lead-free, BPA-free materials. Note: This filter does not reduce TDS, and TDS alone doesn’t fully represent water quality.
- Service Life Guidance: Suggested replacement is up to 6,000 gallons per pair, depending on local water conditions, helping reduce frequent replacements and single-use bottle consumption.
