Inexpensive, Sturdy, Attractive, Easy to Assemble.

This tent is the deal of the century. It is attractive, huge, cheap and sturdy. I left it without the sides. Where we live the price to purchase this tent is way cheaper than renting one for a weekend. A couple of assembly points: I’m not a big read the instructions guy, but in this case, it really helps. 1) before you start assembling, put all of the polls together by their numbers. 2) make sure each pole goes all the way into the inserts (picture 2) 3) do NOT insert the corner peak poles into the corner brackets or attach them to the center peak crossbar until the center crossbar is up on its support (pictures 3%264). If you put the corner pieces in first they will crack the brackets. 4) it took me 2 hours to do this by myself 5) if you don’t tie the tent down, it will fly away.

Great Canopy

Extremely sturdy canopy material. Unfortunately Texas random gust of wind took it into the tree and roof. We secured it to the ground There was no way for us to plan when a dust storm comes out of nowhere. The metal bars bent but amazingly the canopy did not tear.

Can be a great product with a few extra steps.

Read all the comments and panicked because I bought 4 of these for my son's wedding next month. My husband decided he wanted to experiment before returning. We put everything together, adding white gorilla duct tape at each connection. The top fit just fine. We duct taped each area with velcro (minus the sides that weren't on). Raised the tent and he realized the center had a weak spot. For experimental purposes he cut an 8 ft 2x4 and secured it with a bucket and rocks. (We knew a storm was coming. He just wanted to see if securing the center would help keep it standing.) He also tied the tent down with a block on each end. It stormed twice today. The first was a long, hard downpour. The second included a freak hail storm with winds, June in PA. The tent is still standing. We could tell it wanted to fly away, but couldn't. The 2x4 prevented the weak center from collapsing. He'll figure out a better way to support it on the wedding day. We still need to check the other boxes to make sure all the pieces are there, but do far we're pretty sure the tents will make it through it event with just some extra touches. Renting was going to cost us over $2,000. These were less than $600. still cheaper even if they only last one day.
