Garvee 8000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner, 3-in-1 Freestanding AC Unit, 350 Sq.Ft Coverage, White

This portable AC unit surprised me. The listing states it can cool 350 square feet, which I believe. I'm using it in an office room smaller than that. My office is always the hottest room in the house during summer. I have my PC here which adds to the ambient heat, and the whole home AC does a fairly poor job of cooling this room in general. I ordered this portable AC unit with that in mind, and it has completely solved this problem for me! The office maintains a comfortable temperature all summer long now, even on the low setting. I really like the wheels on the unit, they roll very smooth on the hard wood floors, making the unit very easy to move around and store when not in use. The unit also comes with a remote which is a nice extra. The window hardware adjusts to the size you need and the vent has a decent reach. The controls and manual are easy to use and quite intuitive. The only minor gripe I have with this unit is that it doesn't have a built in tank for the water condensation, it has an output port and hose, but you'll have to supply your own bucket, external water tank or connect it to a water drain. That said, the unit is perfect otherwise. It's a great value for the price and I can easily recommend it to anyone trying to stay cool this summer.
