White Mountain Hearth FRSC Thermostat Remote Control with Battery Receiver provides a premium battery-operated remote control and electronic receiver for on/off and thermostatic function of your remote-ready gas appliance. This remote is for millivolt valves only. Features: This remote control system was developed to provide a convenient, user-friendly, and safe remote control system for gas heating appliances. The system is operated manually from the remote/transmitter and operates on radio frequencies (RF) within a 20-foot range using non-directional signals. Using the battery power from the receiver, the solenoid circuit operates a solenoid. The circuit uses reversing polarity software to reverse the positive (+) and negative (-) output of the receiver's battery power, which drives a latching solenoid ON/OFF. The system is controlled by the remote/transmitter, which operates on two (2) 1.5 V AAA batteries.
