Seachrome’s End-Hung Wall-Mount Folding Tub Seat delivers safety, style, and peace of mind by providing a safe place to sit while bathing. It is a sturdy, wall-mount folding seat extends completely across a tub to function as a bench. The seat extends from the wall by 32 inches, making it suitable for use with most standard-size bathtubs. It fits best with Alcove bathtubs and is not recommended for free-standing tubs. The tub seat measures 32" L x 13.5" W and supports up to 250 pounds while satisfying all ADA code requirements when properly installed. The seat easily folds up and is automatically held in a raised position 3” against the wall by a stainless-steel friction hinge bracket. The friction hinge bracket is engineered to provide a smooth consistent resistance when raising and lowering the seat. The tub seat frame is constructed with high-quality #304 stainless steel, while the seat is fabricated from durable, water-resistant thick phenolic 3-inch slats to provide excellent drainage and easy cleaning, making it ideal for long-lasting use. The tub frame is lined with rubber to provide protection when contacting tub surfaces.
